Questions come in four formats, so every child can show what they know. It takes about 15–20 minutes, adjusts to the child's grade, and there are no wrong answers on the reflection questions.
Read real facial expressions and social scenes — including mixed, nuanced emotions.
Infer what a character feels and choose kind, fair responses to everyday situations.
Open questions children answer in their own words — typed or spoken aloud.
Gentle self-ratings ("that sounds like me!") that capture how children see themselves.
SCOPE reports growth on a four-level developmental scale. It's a snapshot of where a learner is right now — not a pass/fail grade, and never a ranking.
Picture & story answers, self-ratings, and reviewed open responses combine into a level for each of the seven skills — plus strengths, room-to-grow areas, and a printable family summary.
