These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the SCOPE™ assessment platform, website, and related materials (collectively, the "Service"), provided by SCOPE Learning Solutions, LLC ("SCOPE," "we," "us"). By accessing the Service, the subscribing organization and its authorized users ("you") agree to these Terms.
SCOPE grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your internal educational purposes during your subscription term. The Service is licensed, not sold. No ownership rights transfer to you. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by SCOPE.
The SCOPE framework, the Seven SCOPE Domains, assessment items, artwork, rubrics, scoring logic, report templates, and all related content are the confidential property and trade secrets of SCOPE Learning Solutions, LLC, protected by copyright, trademark, and trade-secret law. "SCOPE™" and the SCOPE logo are trademarks of SCOPE Learning Solutions, LLC.
You may not, and may not permit any third party to:
SCOPE is a formative, developmental tool. Results are preliminary and are intended to inform instruction, reflection, and support. You agree not to use SCOPE results as the sole basis for placement, grading, discipline, or other high-stakes decisions, and not to represent them as a diagnosis or clinical evaluation.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy and, where applicable, a separate Data Processing Agreement addressing FERPA, COPPA, and applicable state student- privacy laws. Schools act as the party responsible for obtaining any required consents.
The Service is provided "as is" during this research-preview stage, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. Final limitation-of-liability and indemnification terms are to be set by counsel.
